Display & Perspectives

In 3D graphics, objects are located in a three-dimensional Cartesian coordinate system. The coordinates (X, Y, Z) define the position of a point or vertex in 3D space. The origin (0, 0, 0) is typically the reference point.

  1. Perspective View:
  2. Description: The Perspective View is the default view mode in Cinema 4D. It provides a realistic perspective of your 3D scene, simulating how objects appear in the real world when viewed from a camera. You can freely navigate and work in this view to create and manipulate 3D objects.
  3. Orthographic View:
  4. Description: In the Orthographic View, perspective is completely removed, and objects are displayed without any foreshortening. This view is useful for technical modeling and precision work, as it allows you to see objects and lines without any distortion. Cinema 4D offers several orthographic views, including Top, Front, Right, Bottom, Back, and Left views.
